CWU gives BT deadline on Barrow call centre
The Communication Workers Union has today (Thursday) given BT until 8th October to conduct a formal review aimed at finding alternative work to keep the Barrow-in-Furness call centre open.

CWU Recommends Geoban Integration Agreement
Today (Monday 23rd August) the CWU has recommended a wide ranging agreement designed to start the process of integrating the terms and conditions of former Alliance & Leicester employees who now work for Geoban - a Santander subsidiary.

97% Vote for Santander Integration Agreement
CWU members in Alliance & Leicester have voted overwhelmingly in favour of the Integration Agreement as Alliance & Leicester continues to assimilate into Santander.

CWU backs O2 pay deal by 4 to 1
Communication Workers Union members have today (Thursday) backed a two-year pay deal at mobile firm O2 worth 5.25 per cent by four to one in a consultative ballot.

BT engineer claims for tinnitus and deafness
CWU Legal Services is encouraging any BT engineers who suffer from tinnitus and deafness and who have used oscillators and amplifier tone sets supplied by BT to contact the union.
