As you are visiting this page we’re guessing you have read or heard about our recent slack message and would like to find out more about our union, how we are organising and hopefully will consider joining us.

As our union is growing significantly, our Committee of Reps felt it was important to reach out to all our fellow Monzonauts and offer everyone the chance to get involved. We believe having a strong independent union within Monzo, will help achieve greater fairness, transparency and a real say over what happens at work.

Our union is democratic, which means representatives are elected by YOU: they are your work colleagues – not someone from outside your workplace. YOU get to vote on what issues are important and how YOU want to campaign on them.

We are part of the United Allied Tech Workers Branch of the CWU, which was set up specifically for anyone who works within tech or for a tech company like Monzo. Within our Committee, a number of our reps are receiving specialised training in employment law to help assist members with advice, support and representation should they need it.

Being a member of a trade union is a legal right and a human right. You have legal protections against discrimination, bullying or harassment for being a trade union member, and can choose whether you want to people know.
