New Reps Across Our DHL Network

We are delighted to announce that we have a new workplace representative in Ryton on Dunsmore.

Njerius Pangonis has been fully trained and supported by the CWU so that he can support worker at Ryton.

We asked Nerijus why he became a CWU Rep: “I’ve always been in a union even before I came to DHL Parcel.

“I like to talk to people. I like to get things organised.

“Sometimes things at work aren’t fair – I spoke out about some issues, and that’s how I got more involved with the CWU. I want everyone to be treated fairly and together you can do something – by yourself you’re nothing.

“Now I can talk to people in my CWU rep role, get them to join the union, get them involved so we can do something together to make things better.

“And it works – working together we’ve made sure the company does what it says it’s going to do to protect us at work during Covid-19.

“When the systems weren’t working, we pointed that out, and the company reacted and improved things. We did that.

“That’s why I’m a rep – to make a difference together with other CWU members. To make things fairer – to make work better.“
